Corporate Conflict Minerals Compliance Survey
The average number of full-time equivalents working on some aspect of conflict minerals compliance is 1.99. Most companies do not plan to hire additional personnel.
In this update to a 2013 survey, the same members from the CFO, EHS, Finance, Internal Audit, Law, Purchasing, and Sustainability Councils were asked to describe their conflict minerals reporting progress. Questions covered who within the company is leading compliance efforts, the number of personnel involved, hiring expectations, supplier questionnaires, budgeting, plans and opinions with respect to auditors, and anticipated filing status. New questions asked how companies will advise any privately held companies on reporting obligations. Results are also broken down by revenue and industry.
