Maria Negron Kneib is council director for the MAPI Sustainability, Risk Management, Environmental/Health & Safety Councils. She also plays a leadership role in several forums serving manufacturing executives and their teams.
Through her work with MAPI’s Councils, she helps manufacturing professionals share best practices, leverage the peer network and stay abreast of relevant industry issues through meetings, forums, webinars, newsletters and blogs. She has authored reports on sales, inventory & operations planning (SIOP), business continuity planning, Ebola preparedness, monitoring product regulations, conflict minerals and sustainability in manufacturing. Maria has also written pieces on topics such as mental health in the workplace, trade compliance and renewable energy and coordinates benchmarking surveys.
Before joining MAPI, Maria practiced law in Philadelphia as a public defender and most recently on an environmental compliance and litigation in Latin America on behalf of a Fortune 100 company. Maria graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in English and has a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School.
