2400 executives from 500 leading manufacturers
Our councils are membership groups for senior executives to share best practices through live meetings and webinars, online discussion forums, and benchmark surveys. Members use MAPI councils to connect with peers from other manufacturers on the toughest challenges facing them today and tomorrow.
Great for companies interested in one council
Best when several people at the same company want to engage
I have been a member of MAPI for over 10 years, having participated in several different councils as well as the board. As I’ve moved up the corporate ladder, MAPI has been there to support me at every turn.
– Todd Teske, Chairman, President & CEO, Briggs & Stratton
Q: How are MAPI councils different?
A: We offer an unmatched opportunity for senior leaders from manufacturing companies to share best practices and collaborate in a vendor-free setting. According to Randy Mutschler of John Deere, "MAPI has done an excellent job creating an environment where manufacturers with similar challenges can gather and benchmark both strategic and tactical initiatives."
Q: What resources can my team tap into?
A: Through the council website, members' teams can tap into an online library of case studies, templates, and benchmark surveys on anything from creating high-performance teams to effective strategies to drive top line growth. In addition, they're invited to attend MAPI webinars and forums, which are excellent opportunities for professional development. For some councils, a senior #2 can periodically attend in place of the member.
Q: What is the MAPI Foundation?
A: Our foundation produces analyses and forecasts for key regions like the U.S., Europe, Latin America, Asia, and their major industrial sectors. In addition, we produce data-driven analyses that delve into major topics influencing competitiveness, including energy, taxes, labor, trade, innovation, and regulations. As passionate supporters of manufacturing, we regularly deliver keynote presentations at major industry events and member meetings (let us know if you'd like to have one of our experts speak). Jay Timmons, CEO of the National Association of Manufacturers, has said "The MAPI Foundation is a go-to resource for accurate information on the issues facing manufacturers today."
Q: What are forums?
A: Forums are one-day events that bring together executives and their teams for industry insights, peer-led case studies, and roundtable discussions on difficult management challenges like product management, cybersecurity, diversity, and crisis management. According to SKF's Todd Snelgrove, "Attending MAPI forums has been one of the best business decisions I've made. Every time I attend, the payback has been immediate and substantial. The openness of sharing best practices with peers is what makes MAPI a great return on investment."
