Get Answers to Your Top Conflict Minerals Questions
In preparation for MAPI’s fourth annual Conflict Minerals Forum, I surveyed 39 manufacturing executives involved in conflict minerals compliance and found that they most want to hear about the status of current litigation and enforcement, what to include (and not include) in the conflict minerals report, risk-based filings, and audit requirements. In the discussions I’ve had with executives in multiple functions, it’s clear that companies are looking for ways to make their compliance processes more efficient and identify best practices used by their peers.
I hope you and your colleagues will join me in Chicago on October 19 for an agenda that reflects these pressing topics. Executives from Whirlpool, Dover, AMETEK, Cummins, and BlackBerry are already on the schedule.
Last year, our sizable contingent of supply chain executives was joined by their colleagues and peers from EHS, compliance, legal, and sustainability. Many companies sent multiple delegates. Attendees reported appreciating the roundtable discussions, instant polling, and learning what other companies are doing in this space.
Register now (and please forward the agenda to your colleagues) so your company doesn’t miss out on what promises to be an engaging and valuable discussion on resolving companies’ unanswered compliance questions. I hope to see you in Chicago in October.
