As Latin America's largest economy, possessing an abundance of natural resources and a relatively liberal economic environment, Brazil represents one of the most dynamic countries in terms of business opportunities. The nation is the largest recipient of foreign direct investment in Latin America, with the United States as the single largest source. Notwithstanding the allure of this market to foreign investors, corruption and bribery in Brazil pose major obstacles to doing business there.
