As manufacturers are keenly aware, federal environmental and transportation-based regulations are becoming increasingly complex. This webinar focused on environmental transportation-related issues. Eric Stuart of the Steel Manufacturers Association highlighted several regulations, including control and tracking of hazardous materials, GHG emissions, and fuel efficiency standards. Kelly White of Jabil Circuit then discussed the risk controls Jabil has implemented relative to the transportation of “dangerous goods,” including the transportation of lithium-ion batteries. The discussion will include practical tips for manufacturers to address the growing challenges.
