      MAPI Communications

The Manufacturers Alliance/MAPI has been a voice for industry through its original research and executive training program for over 75 years.  The professional staff represents over 300 years of experience in policy, economic, and business research, and is a valuable resource for the media, government officials, and executives.  MAPI experts are regularly cited in national and international media and the trade press.

    Testimony and Outreach

MAPI experts have testified before Congressional committees on such topics as: the importance of trade liberalization; the vital role of manufacturing in stimulating growth in the U.S., the impact of high energy prices on manufacturing; and the role of government in promoting education and research in support of a healthy manufacturing sector.

MAPI professional staff often serves as presenters or panelists at various forums, submit op-ed commentary on issues of national importance, and author books on emerging trends.  In addition, they provide on-site economic presentations to members as well as leading business conferences.  Many of our staff serve on high-level advisory groups, have received awards for their research, and are widely acclaimed as thought leaders.

    MAPI’s National Reputation

MAPI has earned a reputation as fact-based, research-driven organization. Many leading media outlets often request comment from MAPI experts, and citings have appeared in Business Week, The Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Financial Times, Industry Week, The New York Times, USA Today, and The Wall Street Journal, among others, as well as on-camera appearances on Bloomberg Television.
