Commercial Management Summit May 9-10

Calling all sales, marketing, and strategic planning executives! MAPI is proud to present the inaugural Commercial Management Summit in Chicago, Illinois at the Hyatt Regency May 9-10. The agenda includes a value added sales strategies interactive workshop, a CRM systems selection case study, and other topics such as new product launch strategies, automating lead flow, and demand generation and lead nurturing to name a few! The summit isn't all about presentations however.

The State of CRM in 2013

The MAPI Marketing Council recently completed their annual State of CRM survey, based on responses from 80 companies. In this year's edition, special attention was paid to CRM implementations. 83% of Salesforce customers consider their implementations a success, compared with 71% of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and only 40% of SAP CRM customers.

Low Interest Rates: What's Not to Like?

The Federal Reserve Board has attempted to provide a stimulus to the economy by expanding the money supply in recent years. It has been doing this by purchasing mortgage-backed and U.S. Treasury securities in order to keep the short term rate of interest at, essentially, zero. This also has had the impact of reducing longer term rates of interest. On the surface, it seems logical that this policy would stimulate activity.
